Erica McCrae

As I listened to Erica talk about the things that she was doing and the things that she accomplished it felt good to hear somebody from Central actually accomplishing their dream. I thought she made some very interesting statements while she was talking to the class. One of the things she said that stuck with me was when she said orginally she went to Clark Atlanta University but then transferred to North Carolina Central University. That was interesting to me because orginally I had thought about going to Clark Atlanta University for their Mass Comm program because I had heard such great things about their program. Similar to how people talk about North Carolina Central University Criminal justice program. Erica then stated how it was not a family atmosphere at Clark Atlanta University and how it was basically everyone was on their own. That is when I truly realized how grateful I was that I choose to come here because North Carolina Central University is a family!
