The Weather Man

As I walked in the classroom I had forgot that we were supposed to have a speaker that day. I sat down and began to listen to the speaker talk and I realized that he was very articulate and I could tell that he worked on TV. He said that he worked for NBC 17 and that he was their weatherman. He informed me on a lot of things that I did not know while he was speaking, but that I needed to hear. To me the speaker seemed like a humble guy, who was not big headed from his job, and was not caught up in the nostalgia of being on TV. I really respected that about him. He just seemed like a guy that had a dream of being a weatherman and he accomplished that dream; which I also respected about him. I pray that one day that I will be able to speak in a room to people and somebody will write about what I said and one of the things they will say is that he was a man with a dream and he accomplished it.
